ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

1st Walk for Nature | | | | It was last May 7, held the "1st Walk for Nature" organized by the INOR. The event was attended by about thirty employees and friends, having been planted about fifty oaks in the vicinity of our facilities. The initiative had the institutional support of the Municipal Council of Vila Verde, who collaborated in the selection of the area and place of planting, as well as the type of trees to plant. The trees planted are species Carvalho Alvarinho, which in addition to being a symbol that represents strength and endurance, in environmental terms, are themselves a veritable ecosystem of life and biodiversity.
At the end of the walk, a snack was offered where participants had the opportunity to gain energy and exchange views on experience, especially the younger ones, which showed a strong enthusiasm for the opportunity to plant, some of them their first tree.
The administration of INOR thanks on behalf of nature to all who were able to contribute with their presence. In the future, we will repeat this kind of initiative so we can all together reduce our ecological footprint and live a greener world. | |
